Project: Synthesis of nano-structured iron phosphate materials and their application in electrochemical and catalytic field
 
1. Synthesis nano-structured iron phsophate materials

We established a platform to synthesis different nano-structured iron phosphate materials through coupling Micro-reaction technology and hydrothermal treatment. Through adjusting the proportion of nucleation and crystal growth, we can easily regulate size, morphology and structure of obtained materials.
2. Application in electrochemical and catalytic field

We revealed the superior electrochemical property of amorphous FePO4 nano-particles with high-power/energy-density and long-term stability. We also found the robust catalytic property of iron hydroxyl phosphate dendrite and hierarchical iron hydrogen phosphate in the presence of H2O2, which can be used in waste water treatment and detection.
